Can you Relate?

Be sure to read the book of Mark and always discern for yourselves my view points.  That is the great thing about our bible.  The perspectives are all over the place; just like ours.  The common denominator is all view points lead to God's truth, through Christ empowered by His spirit, which searches the depths of all view points even the view points of God.

When we do not, or are not "willing" to relate to someone then there is no commonality.  We do not have to agree in all ways.  However, we do have to be willing to respect the relationship.  This is one large factor we are told several truths about by God's word:

  • As far as it depends on you, be at peace with everyone.
  • Please God not man.
  • Be above reproach in all of your ways.
  • The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  • Seek first His kingdom and all else will be added to this.
  • and the biggie...All things are common to man.
So, today we are going to go a bit further as we listen to Mark spin his tale of the Good News and the Way.

Yesterday we left off with Jesus' baptism by John the baptizer. I have always found it interesting that the bible states immediately the Spirit brought him into the desert where he was tempted for 40 days.  He was there with wild animals and the angels took care of Him.  This always reminds me of David, as he went to King Saul, stating the reason he felt confident taking on Goliath was due to the numerous lions, tigers and bears he faced defending his flock.  He did not tout his skill; in fact it was never even mentioned.  David proclaimed the Lord God Almighty's might and deliverance through each encounter.  He related this in confidence to how God would not fail him as he trusted in this relationship to face the barbarian, Goliath.

Christ was a success in all he faced and the angels did in deed come to his aid; after his success.  Many times, I think we might want the angels to come to our aid prior to us giving our all to fight the good fight.  We focus on our own limited strength and do not open up to stand firm on God's word and let it do the fighting for us.  That IS what Christ did.  Each time Satan came at his vulnerability, lustful human nature etc, Christ didn't enter a battle.  He simply spoke what sustains us - the words that proceed from the mouth of God himself.  It sounds so simple, yet our flesh is so incredibly weak when we do not prosper our Spirit - as our soul prospers

Some time after Christ came back from the 40 days, John was imprisoned.  Jesus went on into Galilee preaching a very straight forward Good News:
  • The time has come, and the Kingdom of God is near.
  • Change the way you think.
  • Change the way you act.
  • Believe in the Good News
We know we are supposed to seek the Kingdom with all our human strength AND the strength he gives us.  Sometimes we forget this and try to go it alone.  This is never a good idea, but we have to be EVER MINDFUL of God in order to detect these things.  1 Corinthians verse 20 and 21 state: Where is the wise person? Where is the scholar? Where is the persuasive speaker of our time? Hasn’t God turned the wisdom of the world into nonsense? The world with its wisdom was unable to recognize God in terms of his own wisdom. So God decided to use the nonsense of the Good News we speak to save those who believe.

I have chosen one verse in particular for each of us to lean on today:

In the morning, long before sunrise, Jesus went to a place where he could be alone to pray.  Mark 1:35 GW
Just because Christ went away from people doesn't mean he was alone.  Today, get away from people and alone with our Lord God Almighty it will delight the Spirit and be rest for your soul.  I promise! (only because His promises are faithful and true).  I hope you Do relate.

With Love,
Candace

Purpose of KB, Inc ~ A Beautiful Unity

It is not difficult to understand what Kaleidoscope Butterfly Inc was founded to "BE".  What is difficult is for me to explain with clarity for others to be able to comprehend it's complexity.  Although it is true that this organization was given a "legal" status in 2007 as a 5031C corp.  It's true beginning and establishment started many years prior.

Believing that our organization is truthfully more of an organism in a larger complete body is the best place to start obtaining comprehension of how we operate and live within a Common Unity of people.  Our abilities are only limited by lack of understanding both on our part and the part of those we work within, alongside etc.  We believe all things are "doable" when we put our own agendas aside to focus on the greater good to be done outside of our "self".

Here is what we were founded on:

How to show that God is Real, Christ is Alive and His spirit is willing to help everyone who is willing to give Him the opportunity to help.

How to show others that we believe and desire to allow Christ to live out loud entwining us within all He desires to Be.

How to be available to show up within the precious moments of His timing to be there with Him as He is there ever present helper in their time of trouble.

Although I did not understand all He was showing me - piece by piece, I trusted Him to be doing a really, really good thing.  So I prayed this prayer:

Dearest Father Hallowed be they name, I come before you seeking your words to share put your passion into pen and paper -  to open the heart of the one in need .I desire to serve you father unceasingly , infuse my mind and walk. Let me understand your purposes of each conversation and moment so that I can be most effective and learn.
I understand it is about life and death, both today or on the final day.

"As long as it is still called today do not harden your hearts as they did in the past. Seek me in times of trouble and joy so that you may have abundance. Your abundance is not for your glory and comfort but to be diligent in my mission. My mission is the work of our Father. You are to constantly intercede for those less able to encourage their growth and lead them all. I was the example and first life of salvation. You are to continue in my ways. Do not stand and watch the fire feeling helpless, get involved in their salvation. Plant your feet solid and lend a hand. Their earthly comforts will be met. That is important and a way to show them compassion, but it is only a tool for your true job which is to save them from eternal fire. I will provide the situations but you must be available to work. I will provide the skills, you must provide the trust. I will provide the salvation, you must have the faith. I gave you ears to hear them crying, eyes to seek them out, hands to reach and help them, and a heart to lead them home."  "Talk to Them!"

Knowing these things and trusting that they good things flowing down from the Father we believe these are our purposes:

1. To Open the door of faith (Acts 14:26)

2. To Equip all for service - building up the body of Christ. The common goal being to attain the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God to a mature man to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ (Eph 4:11-14)

3. To Encourage one another and build up one another. Appreciate those who diligently labor among us and give instruction. To Esteem them very highly in love because of their work (1Thes 5:11-15)

4. To Be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry (2Tim 4:4)

We believe that we "as a unified body" are all empowered - this being our prayer:

Heb13:20-21

May the God of peace who brought up from the dead the great Shepard of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant Jesus our lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will working in us that which is pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ to whom the glory for ever, and ever amen.

We trust and have confidence in the living word of Christ Jesus when He spoke this promise to us:
John 14:14
If you ask me anything in my name I will do it.

We know that we outside of God's will, Christs body working through His spirit none of this is possible. What we do we do not do for us, we do it for Christ, His glory and His name sake.  That is ALL we have and the only good thing that will stand us for all eternity.

Our purpose is Love and each person that has ever been on the face of this earth was desired by and the Cause for this love of His.  We pray that all come to the knowledge and the saving grace of that Love - eternally.

IN Christ and He in us,
Kisses,
Candace

Tripping on the the Stone of Blame

Today we are going to look at Job’s journey through everything we learned when discussing “Trip, Fall, Fly”.  It will be helpful if you do not have these, to go to the top left search area and just type it in and then allow it to pull up those posts for you.  Each one will help you understand a bit deeper the topics we will be discussing this week.

Last week in groups conversations we looked at these following subjects and we all added our two cents worth:

~Angels are referred to in a masculine gender when written about

~Satan was roaming the earth looking for someone to devour

~Satan like other angels was coming from the North, East, South and West taking charge over God’s words

~Our battle is not with flesh and blood

~The battle is supernatural taking place in the heavenlies

~Christ was tempted by the devil in the desert, when he resisted the devil the angels came to comfort him

We are now going to look at several scriptures about this heavenly battle.  In Ezekiel 28 from the NLT

1Then this message came to me from the LORD: 2"Son of man, give the prince of Tyre this message from the Sovereign LORD: In your great pride you claim, 'I am a god! I sit on a divine throne in the heart of the sea.' But you are only a man and not a god, though you boast that you are like a god. 3You regard yourself as wiser than Daniel and think no secret is hidden from you. 4With your wisdom and understanding you have amassed great wealth—gold and silver for your treasuries. 5Yes, your wisdom has made you very rich, and your riches have made you very proud.

6"Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you think you are as wise as a god, 7I will bring against you an enemy army, the terror of the nations. They will suddenly draw their swords against your marvelous wisdom and defile your splendor! 8They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die there on your island home in the heart of the sea, pierced with many wounds. 9Will you then boast, 'I am a god!' to those who kill you? To them you will be no god but merely a man! 10You will die like an outcast at the hands of foreigners. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!"

11Then this further message came to me from the LORD: 12"Son of man, weep for the king of Tyre. Give him this message from the Sovereign LORD: You were the perfection of wisdom and beauty. 13You were in Eden, the garden of God. Your clothing was adorned with every precious stone F39 —red carnelian, chrysolite, white moonstone, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald—all beautifully crafted for you and set in the finest gold. They were given to you on the day you were created. 14I ordained and anointed you as the mighty angelic guardian. F40 You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire.

15"You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created until the day evil was found in you. 16Your great wealth filled you with violence, and you sinned. So I banished you from the mountain of God. I expelled you, O mighty guardian, from your place among the stones of fire. 17Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings. 18You defiled your sanctuaries with your many sins and your dishonest trade. So I brought fire from within you, and it consumed you. I let it burn you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. 19All who knew you are appalled at your fate. You have come to a terrible end, and you are no more."

When ever we look at “Trip Fall Fly” we align that with “Warnings, Woes and Wisdom”  Since Job is a Wisdom and Poetry book we know that we are studying this to glean wisdom.

This was not about Job it was about God.  Satan was provoking Him.  He wanted to push God to ruin the poor guy for no good reason.

Satan’s plan thus far was foiled, he had to regroup.  He left for a time and came back into the presence of God with the Sons of God.  Again God addressed him.  You notice he did not say to Satan, “See I was right, in your face wise guy!”.  God did not even bring it up.  He again asked Satan, “Where have you come from?”  Simple, straightforward and non confrontational isn’t it?  It is Satan that is wanting to challenge God.  He had some time to think about it as he was wandering all over the earth.  He had killed all the places he had to inhabit around Job….or had he?

Today, read Job 2:1-10 which I am posting below.  Think about how vulnerable Job was and who should have been his largest encourager.  Please write your thoughts about all this.

One day when the sons of God came to stand in front of the LORD, Satan the Accuser came along with them. The LORD asked Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From wandering all over the earth.” The LORD asked Satan, “Have you thought about my servant Job? No one in the world is like him! He is a man of integrity: He is decent, he fears God, and he stays away from evil. And he still holds on to his principles. You’re trying to provoke me into ruining him for no reason.”Satan answered the LORD, “Skin for skin! Certainly, a man will give everything he has for his life.  But stretch out your hand, and strike his flesh and bones. I bet he’ll curse you to your face.” The LORD told Satan, “He is in your power, but you must spare his life!”Satan left the LORD’s presence and struck Job with painful boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.  Job took a piece of broken pottery to scratch himself as he sat in the ashes. His wife asked him, “Are you still holding on to your principles? Curse God and die!” He said to her, “You’re talking like a godless fool. We accept the good that God gives us. Shouldn’t we also accept the bad?”Through all this Job’s lips did not utter one sinful word.

I pray that we look at our thoughts in reality to who God is: The God of Love.  I ask that we look at the characteristics of satan and give him all the credit he deserves for trying to deceive us of our true knowledge and understanding of how loving and all caring our Father is.  Then ask for forgiveness for not believing in all His promises to love, protect us so that we can receive all the good he has in store for us.  Let’s not take any more harm from Satan okay.

My love to each of you and I pray that you seek Him with abandon of this world, in all your ways acknowledging Him.

In the Name of Christ Jesus our Lord,

Kisses,

Candace

Welcome...We are Very Glad to be With You.

Last night was amazing to me. God woos me along this journey in such mighty ways. I appreciate each of you. This morning I was starting my day as much like every other morning of what I have come to understand as “my life”, opening myself up to discuss yesterdays and seek God’s direction.

To My Fellow Sojourner,

As I sit here looking back at where I started, not so much the very beginning but the day I first looked at myself in that rear view mirror, trying so desperately to see my way clearly. I’ve walked across the miles: seen the smiles, the turned backs, the arms that would not embrace as well as the ones that opened wide telling me to trust them and give as they themselves were hiding behind a facade. I’ve felt and remembered the pain; pain I had never imagined and bondage no one can escape on their own.
I have read many travelers’ experiences and opinions on “how to” however the same thread runs through each of our tales. Today is only a point in time and all time has been closed. It is now about fulfillment of the days.

Everyone’s journey is as unique as they are. No one can tell you “how to” journey your path except the creator of your path. Many times we are looking to the creature, instead of the creator. The creature is to aid, not to answer. As I heard Him whisper one day, “the answer is the sojourning, the question an endless plight; be still and know that I am God and I love you, deeply, honestly, passionately so that you will know freedom and can love freely just as I would …..for me; always… in all ways.

These are precious moments I’ve lived, the good, the bad, and the ugly, (Clint Eastwood days), some turbulent times, some peaceful times and some exuberant times. I am not a writer as I have previously said; I am just another sojourner on a quest. I am putting all this out here, because He asks us to be real and to share. I know He will find the success He desires to reach whoever wants to know Him. If it is only one person, I am happy to know He has reached you, and that we share this experience together throughout eternity.

Whoever you are talk, sing, share and love… not because you’re perfect at it but because you can—for Him.

With love and kisses,
Candace

Today, I praise Him, I give Him thanks. There are just around 100 of us now. This does not include the wonderful people involved in the intercessory area, between 15 and 20. There are now individuals set to train as well as be trained for outreach. Some days it is very overwhelming for me to grasp the ways God has propelled and orchestrated his love for each of us to know He is Real.

This is what He wants us to understand:

My arm is what reaches through the chaos to show them the truly beautiful pathways to life. When they stand at the wayside and wait, I WILL be there, I AM always there, they simply lean on their own understanding (knowledge, sight, emotions and theories) to struggle their way along. I know not to lead them onto that path, the evil is waiting, crouching around every corner to head them back to his pit. I want them to be in peace so that they will change their mind and get away from what is waging war with fullness of life. I AM.. tell them that. I AM here, I AM an ever ready help in their time of trouble. All they have to do is believe it. I Will do the rest. I Will supply the vision, I Will supply the strength, I Will cover them with My Glory and They Will succeed.

I pray that the sacrifices that are made are glorifying to Him. This is what He has desired a relationship, a body to call His own. this is a fragrant aroma in His sight.
Look in the archives to go further. Topic: moments, journey, sight

Enjoy THIS day that the Lord "has made" - Just as He has Made YOU....and He calls you "beautiful".

What could be MORE beautiful than that?
Kisses,
