Cause to Continue
(GWT)from Psalms 12 Help, O LORD. No godly person is left. Faithful people have vanished from among Adam's descendants! All people speak foolishly. They speak with flattering lips. They say one thing but mean another. May the LORD cut off every flattering lip and every bragging tongue that has said, "We will overcome with our tongues. With lips such as ours, who can be our master?" "Because oppressed people are robbed and needy people groan, I will now arise," says the LORD. "I will provide safety for those who long for it." The promises of the LORD are pure, like silver refined in a furnace and purified seven times. O LORD, you will protect them. You will keep each one safe from those people forever. Wicked people parade around when immorality increases among Adam's descendants. For the choir director; a psalm by David.
Genesis 2:22 (GWT, NAS)
Then the LORD God formed a woman from the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her to the man.
The LORD God fashioned F56 into a woman the R63 rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
Banah – Hebrew word that we translated into fashioned or formed.
Hebrew Definition:
1. to build, rebuild, establish, cause to continue
2. to build a house (ie, establish a family)
3. to be build
4. to be rebuilt established (figuratively of restored exiles) made permanent
5.to be built up (of childless wife becoming the mother of a family through the children of a concubine)
Through God’s creativity He created life that would procreate living souls and one creation that had this potential as an empowered image of them to co-create living souls with a spirit. This was the reason that none were found suitable.
He required of Adam to subdue all things, tame the creatures use all the resources that God had created for good. God had already set in place all parameters of protection, separation – Adam was supposed to carry out these things as a living image of God. When we look back at the meaning of the rib we can see why he chose the rib and not the thigh bone, for instance. The rib has meaning of marriage, the walls or beams of God temple. God fills the temple Adam takes care of it all and Eve helped to build establish and give Adam a “cause to continue” this good fight.
If we do not respect, uphold, tame all that God has given us we become what destroys it. If you are a man – remember that the woman God gave you is your “Cause to Continue”. Respect God, show Him how much you love Him by protecting your love….your wife. As you will read tomorrow – Adam basically said – I now understand and have a Cause to Fight for this it is now outside me so that I may see. I will leave my mother and father and this love and I will then BE united. That is something larger than me and my “Cause to Continue”
This is my prayer: that we will all learn from Adam and Ever as God tells us this love story and become all that He implores us to be …..for His kingdom and glory.
Sorry that it is not translated as well. I simply do not have that ability :(
However, if I can be of assistance please contact us by post, e-mail or phone.

A New Unique Creation
(NAS) Genesis 2:22-25Then the LORD God formed a woman from the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She will be named woman because she was taken from man.” That is why a man will leave his father and mother and will be united with his wife, and they will become one flesh. The man and his wife were both naked, but they weren’t ashamed of it.
There was a major change here. God did a new thing. Woman was the first of creation to be taken out of a life God created. God made this new creature unique – to be reunited with man. Adam verbally confirmed this by his response to God when he said (my paraphrase): God you took a bone from my own body and made me something to care for. Adam was made in Gods image. God goes on to tell us that this is why…this is the reason that a man will LEAVE his father and mother AND will be united with his wife. And they will become ONE.
The next thing that happens is that the enemy entered the scene. God is divine. He knew what was happening up the road. He knew that after giving Adam instructions to protect the garden He would have to give him a reason to "fight the good fight". He also knew that in order to protect something you have to have a personal stake in it; such as fighting for yourself. Only when we can stop thinking about separation of what is yours vs what is mine and become united or one - will the enemy (that comes to steal, kill and destroy) be a defeated foe.
Until the man covering our families see what he is calling his “woman”, until he sees that she is bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh…..the enemy will continue to try and take her from him. Husbands will you allow her to be taken? This fight is your fight – not Eves. You are Adam, God called YOU in to place. What will you do, will God find you faithful to the most unique creature he create. He did it just for you, to give you something other than yourself to fight for?
Women, today remember you are to be a help, not an obstacle. Remember God has a way for you to help your spouse. Even if they do not seem to desire what God has placed within you to offer, take it to God and pray for wisdom, understanding, gentleness, patience, the ability to love above all else and for Him to protect your heart above all else…..for out it flows the issues of life.
With the love of our Christ covering each of you this day –

God Notices....and He Let's Us Know.
Good Morning My Friends:
Today we are looking at verses 24 and 25 of Genesis 1. They are really clear and straight forward. God Let what He had desired be And IT Was SO - just as He had done with the formation of what came before this. He then noticed all this; He looked upon it. I imagine Him with such a joyous heart filled smile across His face. We do not know if it was in His heart He spoke or if it was audible. But we do know that He took notice and I am sure pause to express that it was all good.
24Then God said, “Let the earth produce every type of living creature: every type of domestic animal, crawling animal, and wild animal.” And so it was. 25God made every type of wild animal, every type of domestic animal, and every type of creature that crawls on the ground. God saw that they were good.
Preparing to move forward with the creation of Man tomorrow, I wanted to set the stage with Roman 1 and a devotion from Oswald Chambers. I pray that your hearts be enlightened today as you look around you at all live and remember that “In the beginning, God said that it was Good and He was pleased.” Show Mercy because you have been given much…..before you ever loved Him…He loved you and said you were a good thing.
With a Holy Kiss – Embrace this Day - As Mason always says yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift that is why it is called “The Present”. It is not his original statement, however it is a fabulous one and I thank him (and Him) always for sharing with me.

Romans 1: From Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle and appointed to spread the Good News of God. 2 (God had already promised this Good News through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures. 3 This Good News is about his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. F1 In his human nature he was a descendant of David. 4 In his spiritual, holy nature he was declared the Son of God. This was shown in a powerful way when he came back to life. 5 Through him we have received God’s kindness F2 and the privilege of being apostles who bring people from every nation to the obedience that is associated with faith. This is for the honor of his name. 6 You are among those who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ.)
7 To everyone in Rome whom God loves and has called to be his holy people. Good will F3 and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ are yours! First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for every one of you because the news of your faith is spreading throughout the whole world. 9 I serve God by spreading the Good News about his Son. God is my witness that I always mention you 10 every time I pray. I ask that somehow God will now at last make it possible for me to visit you. 11 I long to see you to share a spiritual blessing with you so that you will be strengthened. 12 What I mean is that we may be encouraged by each other’s faith.
13 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that I often planned to visit you. However, until now I have been kept from doing so. What I want is to enjoy some of the results of working among you as I have also enjoyed the results of working among the rest of the nations. 14 I have an obligation to those who are civilized and those who aren’t, to those who are wise and those who aren’t. 15 That’s why I’m eager to tell you who live in Rome the Good News also.
16 I’m not ashamed of the Good News. It is God’s power to save everyone who believes, Jews first and Greeks as well. 17 God’s approval is revealed in this Good News. This approval begins and ends with faith as Scripture says, “The person who has God’s approval will live by faith.”
am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians . . . —Romans 1:14
Paul was overwhelmed with the sense of his indebtedness to Jesus Christ, and he spent his life to express it. The greatest inspiration in Paul’s life was his view of Jesus Christ as his spiritual creditor. Do I feel that same sense of indebtedness to Christ regarding every unsaved soul? As a saint, my life’s spiritual honor and duty is to fulfill my debt to Christ in relation to these lost souls. Every tiny bit of my life that has value I owe to the redemption of Jesus Christ. Am I doing anything to enable Him to bring His redemption into evident reality in the lives of others? I will only be able to do this as the Spirit of God works into me this sense of indebtedness.
I am not a superior person among other people— I am a bondservant of the Lord Jesus. Paul said, “. . . you are not your own . . . you were bought at a price . . .” ( 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ). Paul sold himself to Jesus Christ and he said, in effect, “I am a debtor to everyone on the face of the earth because of the gospel of Jesus; I am free only that I may be an absolute bondservant of His.” That is the characteristic of a Christian’s life once this level of spiritual honor and duty becomes real. Quit praying about yourself and spend your life for the sake of others as the bondservant of Jesus. That is the true meaning of being broken bread and poured-out wine in real life.

God's Arm is Strong and His Hand is Skillfull...We Must Believe.
Deuteronomy 1:29-32
"Then I said to you, `Do not be shocked, nor fear them. `The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place.' "But for all this, you did not trust the LORD your God, who goes before you on your way, to seek out a place for you to encamp, in fire by night and cloud by day, to show you the way in which you should go.
Referencing Genesis 1:14, 15 God said "let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons…
Referencing Matthew 10: 26-27"Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
27"What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
Referencing 1Samuel 2:10"Those who oppose the LORD are broken into pieces. He thunders at them from the heavens. The LORD judges the ends of the earth. He gives strength to his King and lifts the head of his Messiah."
Psalms 135:7 He is the one who makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth, who makes lightning for the thunderstorms, and who brings wind out of his storerooms.
Proverbs 11:23 The desire of righteous people ends only in good, but the hope of wicked people ends only in fury.
I praise God that He has instructed us to not worry about tomorrow but to live THIS day within the mercy and grace He provides us. I thank Him that He is faithful to give us the sign and wonder each morning that He is with us in the lights above us as well as within each of His children. I am awe of His faithfulness as each day comes to a close and I have seen His hand at work to provide, protect and increase His goodness where needed.
To Quote Isaiah:
Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The eternal God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't grow tired or become weary. His understanding is beyond reach.
To Quote Christ:
I've told you this so that my peace will be with you. In the world you'll have trouble. But cheer up! I have overcome the world."
God set all time in place He marked the days and the years. We do not know these times, but He does. So today when you are afraid do not loose heart..”cheer up, your deliverance has already taken place.” Be as Habakkuk stretch your neck out and wait eagerly for Him to show up and show out for you. Just look at His track record of doing this. His arm has NEVER been too short!
I pray that as you read this all your troubles are as water gone by. I pray that you will “Let what God said Be.” It is waiting for you.
