My God, My Needs

Question, have you ever heard this verse:  My God shall provide all my needs according to His riches and glory?

Personally, I hear it all the time.  I even hear it in my own thoughts when I feel like I want something or am afraid.  It is at that point when I have to stop and remember the truth.  The true, unchanged word of God really states: My God shall provide all YOUR needs according to His riches and glory IN CHRIST JESUS.
I paused to day long enough to examine the subtle nuances taking place in the piece of truth this morning. What I have more than final answers are a few thoughts we must ponder and reflect upon:

  • Who is your God?
  • Is there any lasting riches or any righteousness to pour out of Him?
  • Do you work for what you want and obtain the desires of your flesh, or do you enjoy what He alone has poured out and care for it with gratitude toward His gift?
  • Do you treat His wealth as disposable?
  • Do you cling till the good things slip through your finders as sand?
  • Do you dig and dig for more till the hole is over your head?
Proverbs 11:24 tells us there is one who scatters and yet increases all the more. And there is one who withholds what is due and yet only wants more.  Take notice this day: Who is YOUR God? Look deep beneath your surface, see if there is anyone you are caring for.  If all you see are your desires to have, to hold, to obtain....then realize the face in the reflection is a small g when announcing the riches of your god.  Your god wants his glory to be seen in you not found in Christ Jesus.

I had to take that a look (below) this is who I found ~ but it wasn't always His face I saw.....I pray if this is not the God providing for your needs that you RUN.....and never look back!

If I had not been called
I would not know how to answer
If I had not opened the door
He would not have had entry
If I had not have welcomed Him
He would not have stayed
If I had not have asked
He would not have answered me

If he had no patience with me
I would not be able to share of His love
If I had not needed His encouragement
He would not have made it available

If I had not experienced hardship
I would not have known that I needed Him
If he did not let me face the pain of my choices
I would not have known hardship

If he had no boundary's
I would not learn love and grow

If I did not turn to Him
I would never know peace

If I never desire to know His peace
I would never get to know my Lord

My Lord loves through teaching, embracing, encouraging, sacrificing, giving
He gives abundantly, strength and peace

The strength to face the task
And the the peace to mentally stay focused

There are so many qualities of His love, we have a tendency to only consider the ones that we can hope to accomplish in our own strength.

Until we truly seek our Sheppard, we have absolutely no means to gain understanding; because it is through conversing with Him that He grants us His visions ad understanding.

He desires to increase us because He has massive amounts to accomplish.  We have to be still and empty our lives of our "selves" in order to be filled with Him.  He dwells among us in any form that will give Him room.  He is not one, He is many....He is abundant....He is everyone that wishes to love Him!

He is patient, kind, understanding.....
He is rich, poor, every race and language.
He is every size and every age.....
And He wishes us all to love deeply, tenderly, openly, honestly, truly, passionately, eagerly, genuine....
But mostly ~ freely ~ with wings that can carry and cover, lift and give light.

Together.....we are ONE....we ARE complete ~ we are Christ.

If you believe in God...I ask that you also believe in Christ Jesus - let Him serve YOU and from that wealth know you have so much more than you will ever need ~ now when you believe, you too will be able to give from your abundance in Christ Jesus.

For His glory....forever in Christ.

C

In His Image We Were Made

This is the day that the Lord has made, so let’s rejoice in it!!

He is such a Good God…Great really.  What could possibly bring us to any other destination than rejoicing?  Consider, think on, hold in your heart these thoughts:
  • If the Lord our God, who is all mighty, be for us then what could possibly come against us with any success to the point of harming us?
  • Also: Just as close as you hold this thought in your mind and heart, God, who loved you before you existed in the flesh, knew of you.  He knew the number of your days and what you would be facing each and every moment of them. And he has been holding you in His heart, remembering YOU…..
So what in this world, in the heavens, or below is there which you should fear?

Can you ever come to a place of understanding God by taking the Fear bypass?

His word tell us to know and believe his truth.  His own words gave some direction for our travels: the one who fears is not (or cannot be) perfected in Love.  Therefore doesn’t it make sense that the Fear bypass will only take us “around the perimeter” of Love, but not into the heart of it?

To fear the Lord is not what we perceive it to be (I know this is a gross generalization).  What this speaks of is an understanding of how mighty and victorious He is; how all consuming of Righteousness, purity and holiness He is.

To understand this is so overwhelming to our finite minds we dummy it down to create Him in ways we can comprehend.  This is the sin of idolatry – creating Him into an image of man (or something we can fit nicely into our apple basket).

When His word tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, it means thinking new, different thoughts.  This would take His mind to achieve, otherwise, we are still comparing man’s thoughts to man’s thoughts – which will not obtain an original God thought (the needed orange in our basket).
This is why it is so important for us to “believe” that the bible is God’s word through humans.  It is also why He demands that we not add to it or take away from it.  Again, this would be idolatry.

When He tells us not to conform to this world but to be transformed – we are to understand that piece by piece we are to put down our man made ways and replace them one by one with a God made way.  God made us in His image, through His understanding.  So we cannot be everything He designed us to be by making God in our image – kinda’ stupid simple when the rubber hits the road don’t ya think?

To think of the end destination comparatively to where we are now and the distance we must travel will make even the most challenge loving, self persistent individual shrink back in fear of this daunting adventure.  This is why God tells us up front that the one who shrinks back, He takes no pleasure in.

But do not make God human in His statement.  He did NOT say, “If you do  not do it my way, I won’t like you nor will I have anything to do with you because you are an idiot for not doing what I said.”

What He DID say was this, “It will not bring me to a point of celebration and joy, because my hearts desire is to slather you with ALL my good pleasure, to the point it is chasing you down to overtake you.  And you are funning away from all the help I have in store for you – DON”T Do THAT!  I want GOOD things for you and not things which will harm you!!

Instead of allowing all the false imaginations to hijack you before you even pull onto the road, remember God never expected you to be on the road by your sheer grit –or to have to figure it out all by your smart self.  This would have never given Him what He wanted….relationships.  After all, He is the one who originated the thought, it is not good for man to be alone. He created us not for sacrifice but for a body to call His own.  Just like He created Eve for Adam – something to call His very own, and she him.  I bet what God was thinking as He said, “That’s Good” is, Now that’s good – they would have never known how good, wonderful and perfect life can be without a relationship – and I want them to know only an awesome, loving, take your breath away good life – so they will have something to rejoice about each and every new day I bring them to and through!

That is why I know, understand and believe that He is a Great God….Really! =D

So today, knowing all this, I leave you with a pray of love; which I request to cover each of you as you seek to understand, by way of knowing, the great true love he has for you.  And a question for you to answer to the best of your ability:

Why is integrity so important?

By way of the one who is faithful and the true witness – with Love in my heart and mind as I hold each of you near and dear:

Running From The Dream

Heart and Mind of an Artisan
Through the eyes of true love
All things are beautiful when seen
There is no lack or division
The lesser and imperfect are complete

The eyes of God are always searching
Seeking that which He calls His Delight
We are His children and name sake
He is the love of our lives
Together we reach to each other
Throughout the days past and yet to come
His heights and the depths merge together
His love everlasting searching all
In true spirit protecting while teaching
Always encouraging us bringing us joy
Our out pour of praise is unto Him
The one who began all things

He IS and forever Will be
The creator of all in all ways
The giver of life everlasting
The protector of all intricacies unknown
The redeemer of that which is forsaken
The healer of harm hurt and hate

We live because you first loved us
Your love covers our bodies of shame
We wear this glory unto you
Exposed - your brilliance is seen

Each imperfect and rough without you
Yet namesake designs through your artisan craft
Each of us objects of your making
Given life to not be cold and flat

We are creatures created for conversation
Living out YOUR passionate dreams
May WE never leave nor forsake YOU.
May nothing ever pass from your sight.

We have been looking at our thoughts - Deeply.  We have been discussing our Dreams.  We have been writing our thoughts and illustrating some pieces of them.  Tomorrow we will  be going on a journey with Hagar.  She was living a dream, but not hers.  She was living a nightmare.  Yet she named the Lord "Your Are the God Who Watches Over Me"?

13Hagar named the Lord, who had been speaking to her, “You Are the God Who Watches Over Me.” She said, “This is the place where I watched the one who watches over me.” 14This is why the well is named Beer Lahai Roi [Well of the Living One Who Watches Over Me]. It is still there between Kadesh and Bered. Genesis 16:13 GWT

May each of your continue to keep your neck stretched out focused on His promise.  May you wait with joy, work hard with your hands, pray deeply to cover us all and sing the new song that He gives you each day.
With the Love of our Christ,
Kisses,
