IT Stops Here! No More!

Art Work by Candace Huffmaster ©

And I said to the sea, "Here you may come, but no farther and HERE is where your grand waves will crash to the shore." Job 38:11

Today I have been thinking about how exhausted God must be with us.  He has been speaking about it for so many thousands of years.  We take Him for granted.....how dare we condemn others for taking us for granted.  From now on, when I desire to throw up a wall and say "enough!! you can come to here but no farther", I am going to first consider how I might have offended the Holy One, my God.  After I have laid down my pride or any "integrity" that I may uphold, I will humbly walk before the Lord and request that my offender be securely kept under the mighty hand of God.  It is for their safety I ask; not for their condemnation.  My heart and soul attest to the difference, as all of us are able and do....I pray.

This is what poured out as I was journaling today.  May it speak volumes to each of us:

It is ENOUGH! IT IS TIME! .....it is time you stopped putting your wants before my ways - my child will seek to obey Me; to seek out and serve others needs.

If the priority of YOUR agenda is to schedule your own priorities:serving your self, allotting a moment to serve me in between.  I am no more than a servant of YOUR ego  - a healthy serving of your own pride to plump your riddled flesh.

STOP! Stop claiming I am your God and you serve ME. For all you do sings the praise of your goodness before man.  I will be second to no one; not even one who is as marvelous as you.  What you do is a stain on my image; a shadow on the brilliance of My name.

I love you....this is why I send correction; it is not to send shame but shelter you with truth.  For I know you would never choose to over take me; to challenge my throne or leave my grace.  I speak with the direct Love of a Father, to ensure you are certain to comprehend.  For your will has the freedom to usurp my Spirit and my Spirit has grieved long enough.

Now you know......you've been told and you can't deny it.  Here I am speaking directly to your rebel soul. I Am.....the strong man have no doubt about that.  So humble your frail form before your time ends.  I have been patient....do not push me and I have put a number on all rebels heads.

~~~ as for me, I demand that my soul give way to His spirit; I implore all His goodness to shod my feet step by step.  I pray that my ears listen for my Shepard and that my God fold me securely under His mighty wing.
Kisses,
C
Call For The Wailing Women
Forgive Us Father
Medium:  Oil on Canvas
Artist: Candace Huffmaster
wailing women, oil
Jeremiah 9:17, 20
This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skillful of them.
Now, O women, hear the word of Lord; open your ears to the words of his mouth.  Teach your daughters how to wail; teach one another a lament.
In these passages I could see these women passionately pleading to and for the dead in spirit.  They knew the heartbreak of our father and were using their weeping and wailing as both a siren of warning and an outcry for mercy.
There are periods in my life when I treat my relationship with the Lord so casually, not to mention my responsibilities as a follower of Christ.  There is a lost, weak world he is trying desperately to awaken and bring home.  Can you imagine if he decided not to be merciful and patient?  Until that final day comes, my prayer is that he will continue to strengthen his spirit in us all so that we will have the heart to hear his words, to cry out for the lost and his guidance in leading us all home.
Conversation With My Dad
Journal Entry: Monday October 10, 2011
Good Morning Daddy,
I Love you so very much and I praise your holy, lovely and pure nature ~ You ARE my Dad, I have your DNA now, all of me!  I ask to be renewed into the exact representation of your image.
Because of Christ your son, who asked to marry me so that we could be united – I ask for you to Father me as your daughter.  I ask that the Spirit teach me, mold me, make me into the perfectly submissive wife that would bring Him honor and glory as well as bring you pleasure.
I know I am not a widow or an orphan – I am a bride and a daughter and your holy presence will never leave me nor forsake me.
It seems very hard to do this without you here in the flesh, yet a blessing that you are here within flesh.  I hear others speak of the ease of navigating through this life and I wonder… about many things.  You never said it would be easy, you did say we would have sweat less victory and that I know and obtain in abundance – but ease, without tribulation, without grieving for what others do not have – there is nothing of lightness in my midst where that is concerned.  I know your spirit is grieving and I care, I pray, I go, I speak all for the sake of your spirit to be allowed easement.
I had someone tell me they heard lamenting in my voice while we were conversing.  We were speaking because I was seeking clarity and discernment before entering into conversation in regard to a grievous situation in which there is wisdom and discernment that needs to be given a voice.  My perception of her tone and timing was as though she did not understand that we are to be warning, giving wisdom and indeed lamenting when the spirit is being  held out of its place of counsel.
You request for us to call for the wailing women – to teach our daughters to cry out, to knock on their doors in warning, to extend the gift of wisdom then to woe or lament over the dust that will cover them when we must walk away announcing your Kingdom is at hand.
God I pray for those you Love and the ones that Christ came to save not losing one of them.   I request that as I read this aloud, the angels take charge to fight the spirits headed in to sabotage all the good you have in store for them. And I request that the winds of your truth rip the veils so that they may see a glimpse of you this day, to hear you and not harden their hearts as they did in the past, to turn from the path that they are on – to have restoration with you and finally…This Day have rest for their souls.
These are the thoughts of my mind, the outpour of my heart and the desire of your heart.  In a mighty visible miraculous display Come Lord Jesus Come -
And your bride says Amen,
Kisses ~C
Today, write to them my story; it’s the story of a king
He Loved the people of His nation; those He held under wing
They grew from their experience, they wandered from His care
They followed those who would hurt them
Then they hid from the love the love that I share
They sit behind walls of anger boasting to drown out my call
I send many to find them, but the advocate of evil tells them lies
Too afraid to walk into vision, too weak to take the first step
They sit and take what is offered, they lye down never having sweet rest
They see the search light continue, day after hopeless day
After the darkness a new one rises, by mid morning their will to leave flails
Tell them to stop all the anger
Tell them to drop to their knees
Tell them to remember their father
Tell them to BELIEVE in their King
Tell them I’m forever faithful, whether their attempt succeeds or daily fails
Tell them I desire each of them, to be broken from the chains of defeat
Tell them I will never stop coming, no matter how many messengers they ignore
Tell them I will never have them save them, Christ alone bore their burden and shame
They are not going to harm them, but I will also not allow others to be destroyed
They must sit long enough to be humbled;they must feel helpless and need to receive love
Not the feelings that build ego, but the truth which will force the lie out
Then they will never return there, because that peace will be bound out of love
Tell them to rise up and call me
Tell them to stand till I come
Tell them to set their eyes on THIS vision
Tell them to not replace this view:
If they fill their minds with other pictures – the ones they have already seen
They will not recognize my presence; like an abstract which must come into view
I have already painted the picture; their mind simply is yet to perceive
All things have been place on the canvas
All the chapters have been written word for word
Their story already has an ending
The illustrations of their days alongside
My Spirit narrates to the listeners
The binding and the spine is Jesus Christ
I am the author and the owner
The deceiver has no copy right
Do not add to the image….
Do not withhold any word…
I reserve the Rights to My Story
As you know the whole story will be told!
I know this is my part and my portion; I will be faithful to your hearts desire
I am the bride of my master; a bond servant desiring to stay
Because of my true love toward Him, forever in Him and He in me
There is no where for me to now travel, I am Home where I will eternally BE!
Eternal Flame
When I was reading the devotion from Ministry in Word yesterday I was reminded of an oil painting that God graced me with the ability to accomplish as a witness to His hearts intent.  I am loading the picture below as well as what God translated through the image and His written word.
I am also reminded and thankful for the Ministries He has put in place to reach beyond the walls of His body.  Drawing to the Rock and Glimpse of His Glory are just two of such Ministries spilling the creativity of our God out from the hearts and minds of His people to meet unsuspecting individuals right where they are.  I know it is their and the artists hope that the individuals gazing upon these works that Christ will be seen, God will be heard and the Holy Spirit will be received.
It is not the skill of the artist that should be magnified, each work no matter how we deem the skill level is precious in His sight.  He looks at the hearts intent and uses it for His purposes, in His timing, for His will to be done.
Let us remember to encourage those doing the work for Him, not because they are perfect at it....but because they listen and obey for His Name Sake and Glory.
With the Love of our Christ I pray that today each of us take a risk, move out of our comfort zone and believe in the reality of the Lord God Almighty - otherwise the ones along our way might not see Him, turn to Him and be healed for eternity.
Kisses,
Candace
2 Peter 3:10 (GWT)
The day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day heaven will pass away with a roaring sound. Everything that makes up the universe will burn and be destroyed. The earth and everything that people have done on it will be exposed.
The cross is God's salvation plan for the lost.  Noone gets to the Father except through the Son.  It is through our belief in Him and acceptance of His gift that we have eternal life.  When I hear the firehouse alarms, I think about the day of the Lord and wonder if anyone else thinks about when it might be, or if they even know what we as Christians know.  I think about how God provides the perfect situations in our lives to communicate His love and His desire for us to have life in abundance.  We are called to listen, hear, and look deeper than this life and to share with the heart of our Savior.
How tragic if all that transpires from such a calamity is the replacement of lost earthly possessions.  I pray that we all look deeper, move more swiftly and reach more passionately - all the while thanking Christ for His life.
How Can I be Still, When I Need to Move?
During a time in my life when I was waiting on God I took the time to read many of the Psalms. It was a time of stretching my faith, pain of peoples choices, struggling with waiting on God's direction instead of running ahead of him. I needed someone to pour the tears of my troubles upon, thankfully I turned to God. I use this in galleries to share of experiences we all face in life.
"The Freedom of Wait"
Psalms 56:5 - "All Day long they twist my words and trouble my affairs; all their thoughts are against me for evil and my hurt."
When I think of the Psalms and how "human" they are, I cannot help but see my own face reflecting back at me in the many moments of mere humanity. How can we do anything but fall on our knees and thank God that we are blessed to be able to live beyond the Psalms. How fortunate are we to be able to lay the weight of our humanness at the feet of the cross, to wait expectantly for the Holy spirit that has settled down right within us to comfort, teach, lead, empower and show us the way out. There are days when I see the world from such a selfish view of how everyone is picking on me, but then I hear the Holy spirit whisper "but you know the truth and the truth has set you free - choose life and love them .....for ME".
Selah (pause and calmly think of that)!
Today -
I pray that we all trust God not our human emotions. That we allow our emotions to lead us to the feet of Christ where we will be willing to wait. I pray that we win the struggle to stay on our knees till he strengthens us to rise...in all His power, strength, courage and peace; then they victory is ours through Christ our risen reedemer.
Why Can I Not Follow You Now?
Peter said to Him, ’Lord, why can I not follow You now?’ —John 13:37
There are times when you can’t understand why you cannot do what you want to do. When God brings a time of waiting, and appears to be unresponsive, don’t fill it with busyness, just wait. The time of waiting may come to teach you the meaning of sanctification— to be set apart from sin and made holy— or it may come after the process of sanctification has begun to teach you what service means. Never run before God gives you His direction. If you have the slightest doubt, then He is not guiding. Whenever there is doubt— wait.
At first you may see clearly what God’s will is— the severance of a friendship, the breaking off of a business relationship, or something else you feel is distinctly God’s will for you to do. But never act on the impulse of that feeling. If you do, you will cause difficult situations to arise which will take years to untangle. Wait for God’s timing and He will do it without any heartache or disappointment. When it is a question of the providential will of God, wait for God to move.
Peter did not wait for God. He predicted in his own mind where the test would come, and it came where he did not expect it. "I will lay down my life for Your sake." Peter’s statement was honest but ignorant. "Jesus answered him, ’ . . . the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times’ " (John 13:38). This was said with a deeper knowledge of Peter than Peter had of himself. He could not follow Jesus because he did not know himself or his own capabilities well enough. Natural devotion may be enough to attract us to Jesus, to make us feel His irresistible charm, but it will never make us disciples. Natural devotion will deny Jesus, always falling short of what it means to truly follow Him.
"Believe"
Oil on Canvas
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe."
Ephesians 1:18-19
The beginning of faith is to believe. I look at the fragility of a butterfly and then ponder the strength it took to break free and the knowledge that it comes through with such complexity, splendor and wholeness. I cannot help but believe our Father aches for us to believe in Him, always - in all ways; deeply, honestly, passionately, so that we can break free from any and all bondage that tries to keep us crawling and inching as the caterpillar does. I also believe it is His desire for us to forgive and keep forgiving so that we all can be free to rise above and flutter our beauty in the Higher Community of His Love. Hallelujah, Shalom and Amen in Christ.
