In His Image We Were Made

This is the day that the Lord has made, so let’s rejoice in it!!

He is such a Good God…Great really.  What could possibly bring us to any other destination than rejoicing?  Consider, think on, hold in your heart these thoughts:

• If the Lord our God, who is all mighty, be for us then what could possibly come against us with any success to the point of harming us? 
• Also: Just as close as you hold this thought in your mind and heart, God, who loved you before you existed in the flesh, knew of you.  He knew the number of your days and what you would be facing each and every moment of them. And he has been holding you in His heart, remembering YOU…..

So what in this world, in the heavens, or below is there which you should fear?

Can you ever come to a place of understanding God by taking the Fear bypass?

His word tell us to know and believe his truth.  His own words gave some direction for our travels: the one who fears is not (or cannot be) perfected in Love.  Therefore doesn’t it make sense that the Fear bypass will only take us “around the perimeter” of Love, but not into the heart of it?

To fear the Lord is not what we perceive it to be (I know this is a gross generalization).  What this speaks of is an understanding of how mighty and victorious He is; how all consuming of Righteousness, purity and holiness He is.

To understand this is so overwhelming to our finite minds we dummy it down to create Him in ways we can comprehend.  This is the sin of idolatry – creating Him into an image of man (or something we can fit nicely into our apple basket).

When His word tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, it means thinking new, different thoughts.  This would take His mind to achieve, otherwise, we are still comparing man’s thoughts to man’s thoughts – which will not obtain an original God thought (the needed orange in our basket). 
This is why it is so important for us to “believe” that the bible is God’s word through humans.  It is also why He demands that we not add to it or take away from it.  Again, this would be idolatry.

When He tells us not to conform to this world but to be transformed – we are to understand that piece by piece we are to put down our man made ways and replace them one by one with a God made way.  God made us in His image, through His understanding.  So we cannot be everything He designed us to be by making God in our image – kinda’ stupid simple when the rubber hits the road don’t ya think?

To think of the end destination comparatively to where we are now and the distance we must travel will make even the most challenge loving, self persistent individual shrink back in fear of this daunting adventure.  This is why God tells us up front that the one who shrinks back, He takes no pleasure in.

But do not make God human in His statement.  He did NOT say, “If you do  not do it my way, I won’t like you nor will I have anything to do with you because you are an idiot for not doing what I said.”

What He DID say was this, “It will not bring me to a point of celebration and joy, because my hearts desire is to slather you with ALL my good pleasure, to the point it is chasing you down to overtake you.  And you are funning away from all the help I have in store for you – DON”T Do THAT!  I want GOOD things for you and not things which will harm you!!

Instead of allowing all the false imaginations to hijack you before you even pull onto the road, remember God never expected you to be on the road by your sheer grit –or to have to figure it out all by your smart self.  This would have never given Him what He wanted….relationships.  After all, He is the one who originated the thought, it is not good for man to be alone. He created us not for sacrifice but for a body to call His own.  Just like He created Eve for Adam – something to call His very own, and she him.  I bet what God was thinking as He said, “That’s Good” is, Now that’s good – they would have never known how good, wonderful and perfect life can be without a relationship – and I want them to know only an awesome, loving, take your breath away good life – so they will have something to rejoice about each and every new day I bring them to and through!

That is why I know, understand and believe that He is a Great God….Really! =D

So today, knowing all this, I leave you with a pray of love; which I request to cover each of you as you seek to understand, by way of knowing, the great true love he has for you.  And a question for you to answer to the best of your ability:

Why is integrity so important?

I Don't Allow My Heart to be Troubled...it Just Happens!

John 14:1- 6 (NAS) "Let not your heart be troubled:  believe in God, Believe also in Me."  "In my Fathers house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, you may be also.  And you know the way where I am going."  Thomas said to Him, "Lord we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?" Jesus said to Him, "I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

We know that God's word promises that we are told everything in advace in order to not fear.  We also know that we are promised that we do not have a high priest that cannot understand everything that we have been through personally from his own experience.  This is our hope and our confidence which we are warned not to throw away or cast away.  I thank God for Thomas.  No one else asked the embarrasing questions that I need the answers to.  If it were not for his boldness to just put it out there and trust that Christ would not shame him publicly I would be......we'll let's just say in a tough spot for answers in my impatience =D

But as He promised he had already walked this out and witnessed publically to it in John 12.  In John 14 He is simply showing them how to use the knowledge in real life situations.  Let's gleen from that!

John 12: 23-36 (NAS)  and Jesus answered them, saying, " The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.  Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but it dies it bears much fruit.  He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.  If anyone serves Me, let himfollow Me; and where I am, there shall my servant also be; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.  Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, Father, save Me from "this hour"????? (emphasis mine) "But for this purpose I came to this hour.  "Father glorify thy name," There came therefore a voice out of heaven:  I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."  The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it, were saying that it had thundered others were saying "An angel has spoken to Him."  Jesus answered and said,  " This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.  "Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out.  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

We will be discussing this as well as the questions from this week in all the tomorrow in group - next week for the other groups and bi-weekly groups the following week.

I pray that your faith not fail you and ask that you pray to not enter into temptation.  I also pray that you go forward with Christ through His trials keeping your peace and firmly rooted trusting His love for you / us always.  For perfect Love cast out fear. And the one that fears is not perfected in Love:  think about it, write about it, pray about it and share!

Another Moment, Another Thought, Another Day and On It Goes

Good Morning Dad - Christ - Holy Spirit.... you are so______ I don't have a word Dad so I will move to my knees at your throne.

When I talk to you, sometimes I feel like I am ignoring Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  But I know you are one.  I don't want to get caught up in this thought - but I am curious???? If you desire, whenever you desire would you enlighten me please.  

Daddy, I need time with you.  I am so very vulnerable - okay...I heard you "No, I am not vulnerable because you and you alone keep me from vulnerability!" 

Today would you like to tell them anything?  Me anything? 

Listen - be still.....

"Okay"

My presence is in you - around you

sustaining you, submerging you, merging us

whether you "emotionalize" it or not - that is what you have to know - believe - trust

Whether you feel it or not - it is, because I AM

and we are one; always in all ways

No matter what is going on, what you receive, have or do not have

I AM with you and you are not vulnerable!

But... you have to Believe

At this point if you can not believe without the manifestation of seeing it, then you will never see it

The test is "what you set your hope on"

If your hope is in a place, activity, thing or person  - when you do not obtain that goal or object as you desired / or perceived it should be, your hope goes away.

However, if your hope is in me alone and you do not obtain what ever the secondary hope was - your hope will not be affected because it was only a bonus.

I only hold back I do not stop your hope from appearing - but you must some times be enlightened through the test as to what your "true" hope is on - so that when you are in trouble you will not fear and cast away your hope - which has a great recompense and reward. "Let not your heart be troubled"  "The truth shall set you free" "What the Lord sets free is free indeed"

The reward is to hear "well done my good and faithful servant" and to know you have grown.

When that is enough for you - you are truly maturing into your image of Christ, your head.

Does that make sense?

"Share your experiences with each other, then others will know I care - I AM real and Be Freed!"

Walk with them till they see

How great is His love for them

How Deeply He Desires us to Be Free.

With a Deep, Honest, Passionate and Freely given Love in Him who uphold all things one breath at a time -

Who Am I?

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. I Corinthians 13:6,7

Yesterday we were reflecting on the condition of our heart.  Today we are looking at it from the point of what pours out of it.  Our character which produces the quality of our life is seated in the beliefs of our heart.  So we must ask ourselves - Who am I?


How many times throughout our life do we pondered both ends of this question, both the shallow and the deepest depth?  Me personally - I can't count the times.  There are many forms it displays itself in:  What should I do?  What will people think? Why would I think that? Why would I do that?  Who am I kidding?  The list could go on endlessly I am sure.

We all have known individuals who we perceive to never question anything about themselves or their situations.  They appear to be unshakable don't they?  So what is the defining differences?  Generally it is confidence - sometimes it is merely a facade'.  Today let's just speak about the confidence side of the puzzle.

The core foundation is assurance that what we believe is solid.  What is our belief grounded in? Is it ego? Or is it something infallible?  This can also get complex because not everyone agrees on what is infallible; to some it is self and to others it is God.  Once again, even the bottom line is a slippery slope because not everyone agrees on self issues or who/what god is. 

This is where we step onto the road named "Deeply".  Who am I? is our journeys start. This may sound really easy to some of you - but if you are not "crystal clear"  why not step onto the highway with us and sojourn for a while.

Let's just relax and open the albums of our yesterdays.  Take a glance back through some photos.  Can you see a few different pictures where you were slowing down in momentum due to doubt.  let's pause at one of them, now flip a few pages back.  Look for the photo where you can still see the total committment to direction; you can tell you knew were you were going.  Now stop for a moment and see if you can remember any of the questions that started weighing you down.   

Generally what happens is due to our confidence and excitement we start talking to others along the way.  They start interjecting feed back that questions our success.  We keep trekking and climbing and pulling ourselves through.  Until there comes a point where the lack of resolve forms a pile of rubbish too large to hurdle.  So we stop.  We just have no more energy, the questions get too large to overcome.

 We all know the proverb "Hope deferred makes the heart sick".  We also know that our heart will not divide - God promises us that it will choose one or the other.  So today, I ask you to ponder what is your hope?  Can you remember?

The apostle Peter tells us to always be prepared to give the reason for our hope:

^{1 Peter 3:14-46 (GWT)} But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threat; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,  keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

As we look through the pictures of our lives I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength just as Paul requested for us - in the powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Day Four - The Story Being Told

We paused our study on Genesis last week with verse 16, where God made the 2 great lights.  The greater was to govern day and the lesser was to govern night.  He also made the stars.  We are moving forward with the grand finish of the Fourth Day in God's Story.  Over the weekend we will be studying these verses and drawing some parallels to understand God's love, mindset and fulfillment.

Genesis 1:17-19  God  placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.


God told us in these verses that HE set up a hierarchy of governing things and the greatest light was Good.  He did not say that the lesser light had no governing power.  Let's compare this with Romans 18 and ponder what this is speaking of.  We will discuss this more over the next few days.

Be Subject to Government


Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.
Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience' sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave properly as in the day,not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.


I pray that each of us willingly give ourselves to the accountability of God's love.  There is no fear in Love, we are perfected by love not fear.  Fear comes to kill, steal and destroy, but perfect love cast out all fear.  Walk into Christ, who is in God's presence and allow His glory to be the greater life upon you and in the presence of the lesser light.

With the Love and Heart of Christ - Let it be so.

Perfected in Love...See

Before we enter the verses on Us being created I want us to take pause and truly understand so that we might SEE:

God is a God of perfect love, order, provision and cause which leads to the appropriate effect. He set up all things with the knowledge, understanding and excellence to ensure that all the details of our lives and what we need were already set in place. He created the atmosphere in which all things we would need were sustained. He created the life giving forces to uphold us physically in all way. He secured the sustenance to multiply so that we might be well and recreate in His image.


He created Man to truly love, keep Godly order care for and provide with Godly knowledge, understanding and excellence to ensure that the atmosphere would be sustained for the multiplicity of Godly leaders. He created us to be the life giving forces to uphold things physically in all ways. His forethought has secured all sustenance and power for what He imagined to BE.

Think on these thought from one of my earlier conversations with Him. He was trying to explain some things to me so that I would see Love clearly. I titled it “See”.

I pray that today you too See what I saw and said “Man this is Good” “Thank You Dad..help me understand MORE.”

See

I now understand and see all so clearly, thank you for showing me. Let me record to share because they must know – they have to see beyond the smoke. Their false images in their eyes, let them understand Father, please, they have to See the end of their path. They have to SEE to make the choice of whether to get off and come to you in understanding or to choose death.

Their path will not survive, it is going to crumble and return to the dust, it is as you set it to be if they do not come to Love.

Love is what you are and why you created us. Love needs nothing except for someone to share itself with.

Love is higher above all else, it covers the widest expanse until it comes back. It penetrates deeper and deeper never running out of ability to keep going higher, deeper, wider.

When it comes across something to embrace, it engulfs it, supports it, nourishes it, helps it – without fail; not for any other reason but because IT IS.

Love needs nothing it just has to go to something because it is meaningless if not shared. It is lonely without someone to care about. It needs no doors, it is embracing, kind, it sees all good and helps to overcome.

It protects with such power and strength that nothing stops it, it knows no fear.

There are no possessions that mean more than its need to love. No home is more important than the need to supply for others it loves.

Time is of no importance because love never ends, whether in the presence of the loved or not it exists – it is and always will be.

It does not speak against itself, it could not possibly harm, because it is not capable; it only understands and gives all. It wishes to lavish, sooth, comfort; stimulate to be all it can be.

It lifts, smells beautiful and soft, cool and gentle, yet when needed it is bold and fierce to protect. It will ALWAYS stand before harm, but it does not need to own or hold back; it desires others to fulfill its choice.

Love can feel pain, it can be angry when love is betrayed and others are led away to be harmed – but, love never turns its back; it will always listen to Truth and embrace Truth.

Nothing can hold back love, nothing can outlast love, and nothing can destroy “TRUE LOVE”. Nothing will exist eternally except love.

Love is the common denominator in all good, without love you have nothing immortal within you and nothing to exist beyond a moment.

Only love is timeless, weightless, thoughtless, priceless, love just is, because it is God – (or as he calls himself “I AM)



To me I AM is the most powerful statement ever written - have you ever thought about it?



I AM?

I AM!

We, with our limitations try t understand

We, until God has matured us search our sleepless lives to know the answer to this and complete it.

We are turned around going totally the wrong way when we ask “What am I?”

It is simple math

What = Am +I

(or) I AM = What

We are not a what

We are

We are not an object

We create

We are not things

We obtain

What WE are, Is…..Has…….Will always be -, it is not perishable

“Things” perish or depart

Creation exists and stays forever – that is why things that are not of “I AM” depart from “I AM”. Without His sustaining the life in it perishes due to lack of His life force.

What is in Direct opposition opposes His life force, that is why the object is pushed down. The gravity of its separation captures it. It is then consumed within the power of the negative forces. This is not the desire; it is just the way it is. Unless the negative power is discharged the object will never have the power to overcome the repelling forces.

Anything of this world is made of this world and it will stay with this world.

Dust is but dust, all will decay that is in this repelled arena.

But when all returns to dust and the negative energy exists no more the gravity is broken and the life force can surge to its home.

Now the living forces are here, we are connected but there is just too much material / physical interference to make the better connection. Energy is weak – but it is not gone. I think as we remove the interference or power drainers from our environment - We even here can get the stronger connections.

When we feel the loss we have to find the source, eradicate it and stay on top of the repelling forces in our environment.

The answer to the equation is this:

I am because of I AM

I will because HE IS

Always



Today, if you hear

Do not turn away

Let those who have ears understand

Let those who have eyes SEE

Do not harden your hearts like those in the past

But listen and follow, do as I say

It has all been laid out

COME TO ME

My Father sent me

That you might know Him

By knowing me

I have gone to my Father now, so that the spirit can come and give you heightened understanding

You hear, you SEE, you understand – so you must follow

Speak what I say

Do what He says

Go where you are told

Lo, I am with you always

Even to the ends of the earth

Depart from this world

Pick up your cross and follow me



I AM….etched in your heart

I AM…the words you speak

I AM...the only way

I AM…life

I AM…strength

I AM…confidence

I AM…Charity

I AM…love

I AM…all you will ever need and all you were created to be

I AM…never far from you



I did complete the task

I did win the war

You my child were created to finish what I started

I began a new quest, the old passed away

It is Done…but a new beginning was ignited

That is the purpose ….to finish what was started

That will be the end of the age

That was…IS the plan

All power has been granted, All words spoken….All time closed…All purposes drawn

Time does not exist …only fulfillment



LISTEN TO ME, LISTEN CAREFULLY…..

Come – I am in the wind, like a dance of free movement

Even when still, I still exist

Where does the wind begin?

Where does it end?

The wind carries all, even the things you cannot see

The wind can destroy, or it can lift

The wind can force into the ground or it can rise all above

Objects can block the wind, but they cannot stop it

The wind is not selective of what it carries; it carries the good with the bad and chooses the destinations of each

The wind does not worry about an outcome, it just continues

The wind does not stop, day or night, season or year

The wind just exists with all its power and gentleness

The wind controls all, nothing controls the wind



Wind and Love are all that Just are, and all that can not be stopped……………..SEE

My dearest brothers and sisters in Christ, He requested that we believe we are here to finish this. As for me: the reason I do not leave ….I do not give up…..I do not falter in my commitment……is because Love is all things, when you are being pulled down, you need someone to pull you up out and over.When we allow ourselves to be that charge needed, we are allowing Christ to be an ever present help in their time of trouble through us. I know in time, that person will be that for another in need.

I believe, I can do all things through Him who empowers me – charges me – lifts and hold me. My commitment is to God, to you, to my children and to the body of Christ. It is so much more than just a relationship between two people. It is the living example of the living Lord God Almighty so that all may SEE…HIM.

With the Highest Love there is…..through Christ,
