It is a good thing God doesn’t throw old things away – He transforms them.
We are new creatures in Christ, perfected, in His image. With that in mind let’s think about not trashing things but in the Spirit of God use them for Good.
2010 has been an extremely moving year in so many ways to many of us. The highs have been rich and the lows have been insightful. Only the sheer power of God’s love could have undergirded and propelled the safety as well as wisdom found on this side of the moments we’ve passed through.
I pray that as you enter 2011 you take pause to praise Him for the difficult AND the lackadaisical ever mindful of His purpose, will and good pleasure for us all.
I thank God for each of you. I too have been ever changed by you.
May God bless each of you – I pray you feel the sunshine on your face each and every day this year.
With the Love of our Christ,
Kisses,
Candace
New Day
It’s a new day
sing a song like the birds
It’s a new day
the utter darkness is gone
It’s a new day
let’s leave the past behind
It’s a new day
to give him all the glory
So wake up; don’t dare slumber!
Your time is here; rise and shine!
It’s a new day
to rejoice with your redeemer
It’s a new day
to glorify our King
It’s a new day
let’s hit the road running
So much to do….
empowered by his right hand
It’s a new day
our family is now together
It’s a new day
our father is here inside
It’s a new day
the heavens shake with laughter
It’s a new day
His kingdom is now complete
It’s a new day
let’s live in love forever
It’s a new day
and forever we are home!
