Joyful Beings

 

Joy is the product of something - “because of the joy before Him” as stated in Hebrews and yesterday, “Because of our partnership”

Joy causes us to thank God – and we are doing it in remembrance or as a memorial to what we are thankful for. We must be thankful for what stimulates us to come before God; however we must not place whatever it is “before” our praise to Him for blessing us with it. It is only because of God’s Love, the Sons sacrifice and the Holy Spirits indwelling each of us that we are able to be a blessing to each other.

We must always remember that…..which will bring us joy….which will cause us to lift up our hearts, our eyes and our hands every time with an outpouring of exuberance before Him – which will cause Him to be ever mindful ……which will (you get the picture =D)

Every time we read or hear about “joy” there is a “PAR…TY”. The word itself is fairly ordinary.

Only God can multiply our human emotions to the point of joy – righteous joy. Other joy is fleeting, temporal as stated from the sorrowful memories recorded in Ecclesiastes “vanity of vanities” and “striving after the wind” is human emotions or lust caused joy. This is the polar opposite of the joy we were speaking of yesterday. Ecclesiastes states “There is no remembrance of earlier things and also of the later things which will occur, there will be for them no remembrance among those who will come later still. In Song of Solomon – or Song of Songs, the author knew this joy we were speaking of yesterday. If it was King Solomon it must have been dreadful as he traveled the winding road of memories from Song of Solomon to his out pouring of Ecclesiastes.

Hebrews 12:2 Jesus “saw” the joy that was ahead of him so that he could endure. In my opinion, this is not literally Christ with supernatural vision; seeing His throne empty and waiting for Him next to God. It makes more sense to me that He was using the creative part of himself to visualize in faith, causing a vividly real picture in his mind, propelling his emotions into belief that it was real; which catapulted this power to kick it to the finish line. He was remembering…He was going home – He had a choice. He could have stayed here and not go through the pain it took to get home. But He knew home and nothing was going to stop Him. That is the only way we can do it…..it has to be “because” of something. And the only thing it can be is Love. All else is vanity of vanities and chasing after the wind.

I pray that today you have that outpouring for another and that “the cause is Love”; so that in time they will have a remembrance of earlier things and also of the later things which will occur. Then in time there will be a remembrance among those who will come still later.

Don’t you know right now God is so joyful as He is seeing us remember this as a memorial to His Love for us –
