Provoked to Anger

Yesterday we were reflecting on Mark Chapter 3.  Today I want to pause and do a bit deeper so that we truly understand there is a difference between being provoked to anger and giving into to the lust of getting angry.  Remember, these people were attempting to trap Jesus.  They were scheming, crouching and waiting for an opportunity to pounce.  We have all been in that position, but none of us have been in Christ's blameless position.  (We need to remember that and extend mercy more often.)

As I have studies, and prayerfully considered Marks storyline the intent of individuals has been raising red flags all over the place for me.  Which lead me to go back into proverbs as well as Ephesians to reconsider my knowledge of getting angry yet not sinning.  Let's look at these verses:

Proverbs 14: 29-30 He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is quick-tempered exalts folly.  A tranquil heart is life to the body, but passion is rottenness to the bones.

Proverbs 22:24,25 Do not associate with a man given to anger, or go with a hot-tempered man, lest you learn his ways and find a snare for yourself.

Ephesians 4:22-26 You were taught to change the way you were living.  The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you.  However, you were taught to have a new attitude.  You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, truly righteous and holy.  So then, get rid of lies.  Speak the truth to each other, because we are all member of the same body.  Be angry without sinning. Don't go to be angry.  Don't give the devil any opportunity to work, thieves must quit stealing and instead, they must work hard.  They should do something good with their hands so that they'll have something to share with those in need.  Don't say anything that would hurt another person.  Instead speak only what is good so that you can give help whenever it is needed.  That way, what you say will help those who hear you.  Don't give God's Holy Spirit any reason to be upset with you.  He has put his seal on you for the day you will be set free from the world of sin.  Get rid of your bitterness, hot tempers, anger, loud quarreling, cursing and hatred.  Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgiving each other as God has forgiven you through Christ.
After looking up the definitions of the Hebrew and Greek words dealing with anger / angry in these passages I really got it this time:

When we are not walking in total submission to the Holy Spirit we undoubtedly will fall prey to the snares of our unrighteous emotions.  This does grieve the Holy Spirit, but the main reason is due to how our angry display is going to misguide the lost who is in desperate need of what we are supposed to be leading them into.  How can we lead them away from danger when we ourselves cannot align ourselves under pressure.

If we are associating with people who habitually are uncooperative and unforgiving we will have no peace due to the stress they are continually placing on us.  We were not put in place to save people, we must lead them.  It is up to them to follow.  We have other business which we must not tarry with.  God will bring others across their path; continually.  He cares about them more than is "humanly" possible - so move along child =D

As Mark closes chapter 3 for us we see that the news was exploding, people from everywhere were clamoring to touch Jesus and be healed.  The masses were crushing in on Jesus.  When ever people with evil spirits saw Him, they would fall down in front of Him and shout, "You are the Son of God."  Yet Jesus still was giving them orders to tell no one who He was.  Again, could the masses hear them?

We see Jesus finally getting away from everyone somehow.  But He did call those He wanted with Him to come along up the mountain.  There He appointed the 12 calling them apostles.  These were the ones who were to accompany Him and be sent out to spread the Good News and were given authority to force demons out of people.

THEN Jesus went home Mark says.  I bet Jesus was utterly exhausted and anticipating the comforts of home. But guess what, that didn't happen.  What did happen was the crowds were bad that Jesus and his disciples could not even eat.  If I had of made it this far, there is not much doubt that with my blood sugar crashing and all things pressing down on me I would have given in to my anger in the midst of that awful crowd and rightfully angered the Holy Spirit.  But wait there's more......

Christ's own family, started saying "He's out of his mind!" Then the scribes launch their torpedo "Beezlzebul is in him".....and And AND "He forces demons out of people with the help of the ruler of demons!"  CLANK! CRASH! OUCH! OOOF! SPLAT! (translated, that would have been it for me; I would be defeated).  But not our Christ........He called the people together and told them a story.

WOW; how mighty is the power of our God.  He is so compassionate, patient, loving, merciful, gentle, graceful.  Tomorrow we will discuss Jesus' story within Marks story being told.

I'm excited, what about you?  So cling to this storyline when there are provokers, mocker, naysayers all about you.  And though they stir up your anger, remember to love them - we must love our enemies not hate them.  Have compassion on them, attempt to tell them the truth.  You don't have to save them, even stick around them afterward; that is the Holy Spirits job.  Have pity on them, after all they DO have to stick around themselves after-the-fact.

With a heart full of love for you,
Candace

Is Your Mouth a People Trap?

We have been following Mark as he tells us the storyline of Christ, to the best of his recollection.  Last, we were watching as the highly esteemed leaders of the religious community were working themselves into a bit of a tizzy.  It does not make much sense to me, Jesus was only helping people be released from the bondage's of life.  What could possibly be seen as offensive in that?

We know that God's ways are foolishness to the foolish.  God's ways cannot be understood without the clarity given to us by the Holy Spirit.  So IF you or I understand even one thing, we cannot hold it up and tout "look how smart, wise, clever I am!"  The truth is, if we were to give in to His Spirit instead of the spirit of this world we would know all the things of God.  But we won't, we don't and we do not even see that we aren't.  Crazy, isn't it?

Let's hold up a couple of proverbs to compare what we are studying against:

9:7,8 Whoever corrects a mocker receives abuse. Whoever warns a wicked person gets hurt.  Do not warn a mocker, or he will hate you.  Warn a wise person and he will love you.

10:9,12 Whoever lives honestly will live securely, but whoever lives dishonestly will be found out.  Hate starts quarrels, but love covers every wrong.

In Chapter 3 of Mark people were accusing Christ in order to trap Him.  They were attempting to do this by presenting people who needed care.  Christ asked the man to stand in the middle of everyone asking the people to choose the right thing to do.  Knowing their intent, they had to choose to either let a person hurt just to prove Jesus wrong (in their eyes) or help the person because it was the righteous thing to do.

It states that Jesus looked around but everyone was silent.  He (Jesus) was hurting deeply by their silence because this meant their minds were closed.  Can you imagine his dilemma at this point?  Who do you think was the most in need of a miraculous healing from Christ's view point.  The outwardly in need man who trusted Him enough to believe and come forward or those with a hard heart unteachable, unreachable?

How often do we use our words to snare others?  How often to we set them up to do the right, or even wrong thing in hope of slamming the cell door shut, licking our greedy lips as we say - See, I told you so.
Let's be people who encourage, love, lift, shed light and give them some flavor when life become tasteless.

At least that is my prayer for us all - if it's yours as well, please join me and trust God.  He's amazing you know =D

With Love to each and every one of you - and even those of you I don't know.
Kisses,
Candace

A Malice Filled Mouth

As always when I study for writing I find out so much about myself.  Need I say that these nuggets of discovery are not flattering in the least.  The wonderful thing is "there is no condemnation in Christ - where He is, there is liberty.  THANK GOD!

Most days I go along pretty well as long as I am around the people who like me and think I am pleasant, kind...you know, the fruits of the spirit.  They are EASY to walk in the spirit around.  However, when I am around others who do not particularly care for me (I know, your shocked right?  but there are more than a few) is when I find out if I AM walking in the spirit or in my own selfish flesh.  I took some continuing education this week and one sentence hit me like a bulls eye between the eyes:

People do not CAUSE your problem, they REVEAL it.  When you get offended or angry the problem isn't them, the problem is something inside of your heart.  Do not think that I mean what they did was okay if it goes against God's word.  What I am saying is we are to be at peace with people as far as it depends on us.  We are not responsible for their actions, only our own.

Keep this in mind, as we proceed a bit farther into Marks storyline today:

Several days later from where we stopped off last, Jesus was back in Capernaum.  The news was out and people were coming from all over for Him to heal and teach them.  He was sharing the gospel and their faith was allowing them to receive miracles in a mighty way.

The religious leaders were starting to get a bit hot under the collar I believe.  I perceive their intent toward Jesus as malicious.  They were talking about Jesus, not too Him.   Jesus over heard / perceived in His heart their slanderous remarks .  It is always amazing to me, how Jesus does not out right tell people what the problem is.  He asks questions to reveal what the problem is.  Note: They perceived that Jesus was causing their problem; reality - Jesus was revealing the condition of their heart.  Let's look and learn from His dialogue with them:

  • Why do you have these thoughts? Is it easier to say to this paralyzed man, "Your sins are forgiven, or to say,  "Get up, pick up your cot, and go home?"
  • "Healthy people don't need a doctor; those who are sick do.  I've come to call sinners, not people who think they don't have any flaws."
So I ask you, what happens when an unrepentant spirit is confronted with truth?  Do they say thank you and embrace the person who was selfless enough to "in humility" give them the mind changing, action altering truth of God; or do they get angry, bitter and hate them secretly?

When people asked why John's disciples and the Pharisees disciples fast but not Jesus', He replied: Can wedding quests fast when the groom is still with them?  As long as He is there, they cannot fast; but the time will come when the groom will be taken away from them and then they will fast.

Christ continue on stating; No one patches an old coat with new cloth that will shrink.  Several things came to my mind as I read this.  One is the obvious, how material shrinks when you wash it.  The second was a question, how does this relate to fasting?  My third thought was the correlations between the old  / new wine skin being a metaphor to our flesh and how our flesh gets baptized.  I started picturing how our flesh would tear if we had His spirit enter into us with out His power to keep our flesh from riping and tearing apart.  Lastly, I remembered the instance when people tried to force evil spirits out of people and the bible tells us that all their closes where shredded etc.

All that leads me to understand a bit more clearly just how much loving care God is displaying; how LONG suffering He is with each of us.  Thank God for His mercy, grace, patience, faithfulness, deliverance and mighty, all transforming, Holy Spirit.

With the love of our Christ, sweet dreams tonight.
Kisses,
Candace

Making Our MARK

Jesus said, "The time has come, and the kingdom of God is  near.  Change the way you think and act, and believe the Good News." Mark 1:15

We have spoken about how we are defined or framed by the words which proceed from our mouth, the actions we take, and the plan which we make.  We discussed that in order to best describe or define God we must focus on what HE tells us about Himself.  God doesn't change His definition, we discover it step by step.  He is not going to become what we define Him as.  This is idolatry; forming God into our image.  We know that we are in the process of being transformed into His image as we were created to begin with.

Most of us spend the majority of our life creating ourselves into the image we perceive is best.  Yet we did not start our process, God did.  Once we believe this to be true we are on a sojourn back to where we started from in order to pick up where WE left Him off.  At least I pray we all figure that much out because that is where salvation begins.  And it IS only the beginning!

All this to say, we are listening to Mark speak what he believes to be the truth.  These are the defining statements of who our brother Mark is becoming within our one and only true eternal family.  While we are born within earth bound families these unless all come to the saving knowledge of Christ and believe; they will not be our family beyond this temporary life.  So let's continue listening and observing what Mark has to tell us.  I pray your faith be expanded, wisdom increased and God glorified through your existence unto Him.

Jesus purpose was to preach the word of God and force demons out of people.  Notice, Christ had to believe, speak and if invited participate in being a catalyst for change.  But people first had to believe, speak and receive or it would have been useless.

He told Simon Peter and Andrew that they would catch men.  Think about how Christ catches us when we fall.  Think about how lifeless a person is when the force that is upholding them is no longer there.  As I was reading along with Marks story I noticed how Christ handled people with care, but His presence was mayhem to the evil spirits.

We first see Jesus  being called the Son of God, not by Peter, by evil spirits as Jesus came into their presence.  Jesus ordered the spirits to keep quiet about His identity.  Question: "Could the people not hear this conversation between the evil spirits and Jesus?" Then it was like an epiphany to me: of course they knew who He was; they were in heaven with Him before their great fall from heaven.

A bit later along their way, Christ went off by Himself to pray and the disciples came looking for Him saying: "Everyone is looking for you."  I had to giggle a bit when I read His reply.  Christ did not say: "Well for goodness sake, then let me get up and go to them. We can't keep them waiting; they're in need!"  He said: " Well let's go somewhere else, I have to spread the Good News in all the nearby and small places too."

Look at the radical difference between God and man.  Man usually thinks we need to get up and run to the aid of people.  When in actuality we are only to give wise counsel which leads them to God.  They must believe and allow Him to "fix them" if they have faith to follow His instructions.  We, as well, must be willing to help or not help dependent on His will for our participation.  When we get this out of order, WE are out of order.  Remember that! (note to self)

The evil spirits were not the only ones asked not to speak about what Christ had done for them.  The man He healed with a serious skin disease was requested not to tell anyone either.  This leads me to wonder if he was possessed by an evil spirit because Christ was still forcing demons out.  My assumption is that Jesus would have done this for him as well.  Maybe Christ knew that his state would be worse than it's current state if He did this.  I don't know, guess that is one for the banquet table ;)   Once healed this person did NOT keep it to himself as Jesus requested.  In reference to my earlier comment, Jesus displayed gentleness unlike His "not allowing" the demons to speak.  There might not have been any obvious consequences for this man, but his words directly affected Jesus.  Just by him running his mouth he made it impossible for Jesus to get any time away for Himself.  Which was all Christ wanted; time alone with God.

As yesterday, I pray that you be mindful of which spirit is leading you as you think, speak and act.  It is very important.  It has a cosmic effect on the peace in this place.  Extend your peace, keep your peace and as far as it depends on you BE at peace with everyone.  That alone should keep us all pretty darn busy; don't you think?

My love to each of you, in Christ.
Kisses,
Candace

Can you Relate?

Be sure to read the book of Mark and always discern for yourselves my view points.  That is the great thing about our bible.  The perspectives are all over the place; just like ours.  The common denominator is all view points lead to God's truth, through Christ empowered by His spirit, which searches the depths of all view points even the view points of God.

When we do not, or are not "willing" to relate to someone then there is no commonality.  We do not have to agree in all ways.  However, we do have to be willing to respect the relationship.  This is one large factor we are told several truths about by God's word:

  • As far as it depends on you, be at peace with everyone.
  • Please God not man.
  • Be above reproach in all of your ways.
  • The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  • Seek first His kingdom and all else will be added to this.
  • and the biggie...All things are common to man.
So, today we are going to go a bit further as we listen to Mark spin his tale of the Good News and the Way.

Yesterday we left off with Jesus' baptism by John the baptizer. I have always found it interesting that the bible states immediately the Spirit brought him into the desert where he was tempted for 40 days.  He was there with wild animals and the angels took care of Him.  This always reminds me of David, as he went to King Saul, stating the reason he felt confident taking on Goliath was due to the numerous lions, tigers and bears he faced defending his flock.  He did not tout his skill; in fact it was never even mentioned.  David proclaimed the Lord God Almighty's might and deliverance through each encounter.  He related this in confidence to how God would not fail him as he trusted in this relationship to face the barbarian, Goliath.

Christ was a success in all he faced and the angels did in deed come to his aid; after his success.  Many times, I think we might want the angels to come to our aid prior to us giving our all to fight the good fight.  We focus on our own limited strength and do not open up to stand firm on God's word and let it do the fighting for us.  That IS what Christ did.  Each time Satan came at his vulnerability, lustful human nature etc, Christ didn't enter a battle.  He simply spoke what sustains us - the words that proceed from the mouth of God himself.  It sounds so simple, yet our flesh is so incredibly weak when we do not prosper our Spirit - as our soul prospers

Some time after Christ came back from the 40 days, John was imprisoned.  Jesus went on into Galilee preaching a very straight forward Good News:
  • The time has come, and the Kingdom of God is near.
  • Change the way you think.
  • Change the way you act.
  • Believe in the Good News
We know we are supposed to seek the Kingdom with all our human strength AND the strength he gives us.  Sometimes we forget this and try to go it alone.  This is never a good idea, but we have to be EVER MINDFUL of God in order to detect these things.  1 Corinthians verse 20 and 21 state: Where is the wise person? Where is the scholar? Where is the persuasive speaker of our time? Hasn’t God turned the wisdom of the world into nonsense? The world with its wisdom was unable to recognize God in terms of his own wisdom. So God decided to use the nonsense of the Good News we speak to save those who believe.

I have chosen one verse in particular for each of us to lean on today:

In the morning, long before sunrise, Jesus went to a place where he could be alone to pray.  Mark 1:35 GW
Just because Christ went away from people doesn't mean he was alone.  Today, get away from people and alone with our Lord God Almighty it will delight the Spirit and be rest for your soul.  I promise! (only because His promises are faithful and true).  I hope you Do relate.

With Love,
Candace

Marks Chapter in God's Story Being Told

My gratitude to each of you who shared your story with us last week.  It is always makes me smile to know I am not the only "character" God created :)

As I promised, we are going to look at God's storyline through the eyes of others while we merge our own for confirmation of His presence.  That is all our witness is for ya know - proof that He is real and cares deeply, honestly and passionately for us in order that we might all live freely forever.  What a perfect eternity that will be, don't you agree?

When I desire to read the view points of a gospel, keeping the focus on everyday life, I usually remember Mark.  With that in mind, Mark is where I started our journey to increase our understanding.  Mark decided his storyline would open with acknowledging the Good News by referencing Isaiah the prophet.  It was as if he wanted to know that without Isaiah lighting the pathway for him, he would not have been able to light it further for us.  We now are to light up to where our presence ends and pass our torch onto the sprinter up ahead of us; and so on and so forth.

As Mark was speaking about John the Baptizer and recanting the details of Jesus' baptism, I started thinking.  While the baptism in water is wonderful we know the might comes from the baptism of the Spirit.  The deed which we do publicly is an honor and glory to God due to our faithful witness.  But the profession of Spirit is displayed among people as we witness to attest to his power. The water is a witness for people to view, the transformation is the Spirits witness of Christ in us bringing Glory to our Creator and awareness of the relationship between our Father and His son.

The first time I recall reading about the heavens splitting open was in Mark as Christ came up out of the water and the Spirit descending as a dove upon Christ.  I love the imagery of that scene.  I wish I could have witnessed the voice of God speaking from the heavens to say, "You are My Son, whom I love and I am pleased with you!

I know that one day I will hear God say that to Christ.  It will be the day that every knee bends and head bows down to join in this acclamation.  Christ so deserves it.  And you know what, God loves you and I that much.  He would  not have allowed Christ to demonstrate His love like this if it were not so.

I have come to believe what I heard Him say one day:  If it is so, so it is, whether it is spoken by man or not.  As for me, I am going to speak it.  Christ wasn't ashamed of my sin, how dare I be ashamed of His goodness and God's love for us all.  As Peter stated, "May it NEVER be!"

With Love from and through Him to you all ~

Candace

Old Things Renewed

Old Things Renewed ~ Watercolor by Candace Huffmaster

So we are always confident. We know that as long as we are living in these bodies, we are living away from the Lord. Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight. We are confident and prefer to live away from this body and to live with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 GW

We know that we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.  And yet we still have to live within the limitations of our mortal bodies.  This at times causes us to lean on our own understanding which hinders our ability to live the transformed life we believe is available.  Think about the limited form of the caterpillar, how it crawls along and consumes.  Don’t you think if it had the ability to choose to live as a butterfly from the beginning it would do so?

God created us with the ability to reason, acknowledge and discern in order to live a higher transformed Zoe life.  What are you waiting for?  Have faith, spread your wings and reach heights for His name sake and glory.

For today, simply think about this.  Later I will be posting a deeper thought on this which will tie together being on pause and moments in between.

My prayer is for our Spirit to prosper even as our soul does right now.

With Love,
Candace

What Delights Me

Sometimes we are so focused on our story that we forget we are just a character with a bit part within His storyline.  (Just reminding you of our discussions from Deeply and Honestly)  Since we have been intently looking for our storyline, attempting to see our character, I wanted to "bring to remembrance" it is His story which is being told.

So here is nugget for you to ponder today (below).  Discern if you believe it. I pray that you do, that your faith will not fail.  Ask Him for all of the forces of His kingdom to lift you up, encourage your faith in His faithfulness today.  Pray that your faith be increased so that when you are tempted, you will surely be found faithful, even today.

With Love,
Candace

What Delights Me

Be hearers of My words
Be Doers of My will
Then My Spirit resounds….
Your actions are made through intent
Returning to Me, my desire
A body which I call My own

My Son came so that you might see
Straight from paradise to take back the keys
From a Father into His Son
My gift was with purpose
And for your eternal good

The blind may now truly believe
The world in which you see
Is not heaven on earth as you think
It is bound and away from me

Be released, even now at this time
With a true faith, which I call Divine
Not in things which you emulate
But my power filled with might by your faith

For the honor and name sake of the Lord
Don't reject My Spirit in your home
Be protective of those whom I've called
Be mindful that, I in them dwell
Be brothers and sisters till the end
For you are and in this there's no doubt

All the walls of division are torn down
When you unlock the chambers of your mind
Then all those prisoners shall be freed
In this there is Liberty indeed

Loose the Love which causes true force
Watch it descend with the grace of a dove
Let it perch on your soul; Let it sing
To share melody’s from the depth of Your King.

So in Love with YOU!
Kisses,
C

.........But God

Hello,

I know I must seem like a stranger after being gone for 5 days!  Thinking I had strep, I went to the doctor, but the results came back negative.  Whatever this ugliness is, it has been sticking close by for almost a week now.  That being said, the other reason I have been amiss was due to an exhibit coming up.  I finally completed the pieces and am back on track with editing all my notes for our daily writing =D

While we are thinking about our story lines think about this:

…..But God

Watercolor by Candace Huffmaster

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom he has called according to his plan. Romans 8:28 GW
We know that God did not create us to be weighed down by fear and doubt; He created us for good things!  All He asks of us is to take a chance, cast down all false imagination and believe He will under gird ALL success.  Not because of how faithful we are, because of how faithful He is.  Not because of our great abilities, but because He has a desire to be seen in our weaknesses as we show our confidence in Him to step out even when we know we will probably flail.
The next time you think, “But I’m not smart enough, skilled enough, well known enough…..”, remember ……But God IS!   So, take a do over.  This time LET it be a new thing He’s doing in you, for you and for us all.
Kisses to you all,
Candace

Omit, Admit, Submit

Hebrews 13:5-9, 17  Don’t love money.  Be happy with what you have because God has said, “I will never abandon you or leave you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper.  I will not be afraid. What can mortals do to me?”
Remember your leaders who have spoken God’s word to you.  Think about how their lives turned out, and imitate their faith.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Don’t get carried away by all kinds of unfamiliar teachings.  Gaining inner strength from God’s kindness is good for us.  This strength doesn’t come from following rules about food, rules that don’t help those who follow them.
Obey your leaders, and accept their authority.  They take care of you because they are responsible for you.  Obey them so that they may do this work joyfully and not complain about you.  (Causing them to complain would not be to your advantage)
I have not sent you all too much information this week because you have had a lot to think about from last week.  I know you all have started the work so we can discuss it, Right?
In thinking about storylines, here’s one for you:
What happens when you don’t have any words? You don’t have any desires. You feel that you don’t have anyone.  Do you remember that you have God?
Do you ever feel like your storyline just ends? Do you ever feel like there are no other words? Do you ever feel that all parts of your storyline have played out and the curtain just closed, with you having no other bit part to move onto and nowhere to go?
Do you simply stand there dumbfounded asking “What Now!?”  OR do you ask Christ, who is right there with you when you can’t see to show you the way out, “What do YOU want me to do now that I have come to the end of myself?”
Are you tired of being busy? Do you ever stop long enough for the truth to resonate that MAYBE you are running from God with all your “business”?  Maybe you are closing your ears by filling it with TV, RADIO and the idle voices of nonsense?
If people are supposed to be around us, and their support is crippled at best, how in the world are we supposed to be able to withstand the moments of our days without separating from them?
We need HIM.  He alone makes us able.  He tells us not to let evil in through our windows and doors.  We are supposed to stand our ground and protect our space; keep our peace.  So we need to just DO IT!
God will always rightly divide when we leave the battle ground in His hands.  All he asks us to do is pray for people, show mercy and keep about our own business – AFTER we speak the truth in love.  These ARE good ways no matter how others perceive them.
We have been speaking about HARMONY.  We often question submitting to people and selflessness.  The truth is not all leaders are leading us into God’s will.  Will you be able to discern where they are imploring you to follow?  BE WISE, Don’t be DECEIVED! Sometimes people have to simply leave without you.  It’s okay ……

Think about this today – we will be speaking more on this next week.
I can’t wait to hear your stories.
I pray for the peace, which comes through knowing Christ, by the Spirit indwelling and leading you, to keep you cuddled tenderly till we meet again.
With Love,
Candace

Cuddle My Children

Sorry it has been several days since I was able to stow away some time to post.  Please reflect on this from any view point relating to you, this day in time.  There are several prospectives being spoken from.
I pray that God’s Spirit be prosperous in each of us, strengthening our souls to not be distracted.  I pray that each of us give him our mind and allow His Spirit to speak so that we are aware of His timing in all things.  I pray that we be lead by His Spirit, every moment we exist and taught as only His wisdom is able.  I pray that we all feel his blanket of love cuddling us in order that we might be whole and healed in all ways.  And then allow the wealth of all that He has given into us, to flow uninterrupted into the lives of those less fortunate in our midst to sooth their hurting, strengthen His power and ignite their souls.
For He is their comforter and counselor – Amen,

Cuddle My Children
 Brighten their darkness,
Ease restricted breath,
Break through their bondage,
Let them feel grace.
Develop their hearing,
Push them to fight,
I understand struggle,
I know of this plight.
Time, it does take……
And why time is unknown,
Patience, a virtue,
……..developing strength.
Wings will develop,
Under my will.
My Sight gives vision,
And compulsion to flee,
 Strength of the warrior
Rises from bended knee.
Necessity of tribulation,
For those strong in self,
Breaks their own focus
Their “self” defeats.
I am their savior,
Mere man there defeat,
I judge not their action,
I love when allowed,
Bitter their heartaches,
Yet my love, in it, dwells.
Love is enormous,
No room for the guilt,
Houses of the lovely,
Feel no contempt.
Who can harbor hatred,
When looking in my face?
My children know of me
And understand we are one,
We love to encourage
Make light of mistakes,
Share in the learning,
Celebrate the growth,
Look deep…..
Find the lovely,
Speak highly of my strength.
Reach out and love them,
Your body is my hand,
I wish to embrace them,
To smile in their face.
Sunshine is not a mystery,
It happens every day.
It warms and it brightens,
It dries up their tears.
Think of the showers,
The storms…..
And my love,
Reflect on my examples,
Then apply what you’ve learned.
Rain, washes and nourishes,
Growth is the key.
Sunshine a life force,
Encouraging great strength.
When no rain washes over,
Destruction hits hard,
Too much moisture suffocates,
Washes all away.
Storms are the torrents,
When out of control.
Nothing is unreasonable
To fathom of demise,
Unrelenting destruction,
No safety to hide.
In love, there is balance,
In self, only one,
Too much of this world…..
Is askew, out of view;
No reflection of me
When looking upon you.
When you see a stranger,
Their face is unknown,
No impact is connected
To carry it through.
Words are my witness,
People their home,
My face is familiar,
Then memories are made;
Now, they will know me
As they call your name.
Look in the mirror,
Whom do you see?
Don’t listen to their voices,
Listen to me…….
You are my family,
I died for you,
Don’t remember their problems,
Remember my love,
They beat me and hated me,
Called me perverse things…….
I stood there and took
Because I knew your name.
They did not matter,
My eyes saw your face
And the love of my Father
Who showed me these things.
Trust Me, I bore it!
So you could come home.
Spotless, I see you,
I love you so.
Who cares that you’ve messed up,
You all have to learn.
Pick up the pieces,
Place them at my feet.
Now sit with me and listen,
Record MY words,
Carry them with you.....
Teach them to heal.
Who should be burdened?
Look past the pain.
Their once was a child there.....
What was their name?
Who was their parent?
Who showed them love?
Who taught them of me,
Listen and learn!
Where are they?
Find them…..
What is in your way?
Are you too busy?
Will you leave them alone?
Hurting and hostile, no truth in their life?
You don’t have to save them……
Just show them your light.
Sunshine is a blessing,
And rain a release…..
Toxins relinquished……
Cleansing the soul
Refracting, penetrating……
Are beams of light,
Our health is daily,
Each moment a choice…..
Surrounding, engulfing,
The environment affects.....
I am the lifeline
Their only saving grace!

My mercy is unlimited,
My Father provides.
Answer when you hear me,
So trials are understood.
Help those I send you,
And My glory they will see.
Finally salvation, truth and light
Will cuddle my children during their plight.

There is a Difference Between Grieving and Groaning

For the next few days we are going to be very cognisant of what we speak.  Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time for all things under the sun.  Al thought we go through all types of common conditions and experiences we must be aware of the difference between deep grief filled groans and groaning or moaning due to lack of growth.

This is what Oswald Chambers had to say about it

Enjoy your life, the good, the bad, the difficult or what ever - it's just another day!
Love,
Candace
